Standard Agreement Terms: Please read these Terms of Service carefully before utilizing our eJournal Notary software. By creating an account or recording notarial logs, you agree to comply with these terms, as well as state-specific statutory frameworks governing the professional conduct of a Notary Public.
These Terms of Service represent a binding contract between you (the registered professional Notary) and eznotaries.com (and our operators representing klikful.com). These terms govern your access to the web-based eJournal application, active signature tablets, secure database logs, and all related PDF export utilities. If you do not accept these provisions, you must immediately deactivate your eJournal user profile.
To maintain the high statutory standards required of official state-sanctioned actors, you agree to:
Per individual state laws (such as California, Texas, Florida, and other jurisdictions), an electronic notary journal is considered the exclusive, highly protected professional property of the individual Notary Public.
While eznotaries.com provides the cloud storage, infrastructure, database permissions, and drafting layouts, the legal compliance of keeping journal records safe, verified, and complete falls solely on the notary executing the act. We are not responsible for missing witness detail logs or signatures that fail state specific guidelines.
When utilizing the eJournal Notary platform, you represent and warrant that you will not:
THE PLATFORM AND ALL RELATED CERTIFIED EXPORTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITH NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, OF ANY KIND. EZ NOTARIES OR KLIHFUL.COM EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, SECURITY FOR SPECIFIC STATE LEGAL TRIALS, UNINTERRUPTED UPTIME, OR ABSOLUTE ERROR-FREE PROCESSING. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL EZ NOTARIES BE LIABLE FOR DIRECT, INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR STATUTORY DAMAGES RELATING TO FAILED NOTARIAL TRANSACTIONS, STATE AUDITING REPRIMANDS, OR LOSS OF DATA.
We reserve the right to revise or update these terms at any time to align with changing state rules for remote online notarization (RON) or physical electronic journals. If you have any questions, you can contact us directly:
